What is the role?

We are looking for an experienced and driven Health Projects Manager to lead and develop our Health Pillar programmes. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to improve the health and wellbeing of people across Southampton through innovative, community focused projects, with a key focus on mental health and falls prevention.

As Health Projects Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic development of our health projects, ensuring they are participant centred, outcome focused and delivered to the highest standards. You will drive new opportunities for growth, build strong relationships with partners and funders, and ensure our work continues to meet local needs while contributing to Saints Foundation's strategic objectives. • Work alongside colleagues in Insight & Impact, Marketing & Communications and Safeguarding to demonstrate and promote the impact of our work through high quality reporting, case studies and success stories.
  • Contribute to the wider development of Saints Foundation, providing effective leadership, coaching and support to your team through regular one-to-ones, appraisals and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive culture that enables colleagues to deliver outstanding outcomes for participants and communities across Southampton.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
