Skills

Essential criteria

• Clean driving licence & access to a car with the ability to travel, with required resources, across the county, working flexibly including working out of hours (evenings and weekends) when required

Qualifications

Desirable criteria

• To hold a relevant teaching qualification, or accredited RSHE qualification

Experience

Essential criteria

• Experience of delivering education / training packages to professionals and/or community groups. To have a good understanding of the challenges that young people may face growing up, and how to talk to young people in an age-appropriate way.

Skills

Essential criteria

• Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate at a range of different levels, build & manage relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and communicate to support/gain support from a wider team.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and database entry skills
• Good standards of accuracy, numeracy and literacy; ability to input data onto clinical and client databases

Knowledge

Essential criteria

• An understanding and a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

Experience

Desirable criteria

• Experience working directly with young people on a 1:1 basis

Knowledge

Desirable criteria

• Knowledgeable about HIV prevention, sexual health, contraception and other health needs of communities at risk of poor sexual health and HIV in the UK
• A good level of knowledge about key national and local sexual health and HIV issues.

Experience

Desirable criteria

• Experience of delivering and evaluating health promotion interventions to communities that experience health inequalities including young people
• To have a good understanding of the local area
