Role Overview

In this role, you’ll be a visible and trusted presence across more than 20 sites, working closely with managers and technicians to ensure health and safety is embedded into everyday operations. You’ll provide clear, practical advice that helps teams work safely and confidently, supporting everything from risk assessments and safe systems of work to incident investigations and compliance with UK legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, practical advice to help teams work safely and confidently.
  • Support risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Conduct incident investigations and ensure compliance with UK legislation.
  • Take ownership of site visits, audits, and inspections.
  • Help identify risks before they become issues.
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Support ISO standards and contribute to training, briefings, and a culture of proactive reporting.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Experience in a multi-site or operational environment.
  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach to health and safety.
  • Confident, approachable, and able to build strong relationships.
  • Balancing compliance with real-world operations.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about creating safer workplaces.

Location

Remote / Hybrid – A mixture of work from home together with site visits. Most of the company sites are based in the M4 corridor, therefore being located in this area would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Salary

up to £40,000 per annum plus benefits
