A Health & Safety Advisor is required to support health and safety compliance across a busy operational environment in the West Midlands.

You'll provide practical advice to managers, coordinate training and health surveillance, and support effective monitoring through inspections and audits.
The Role
As The Health & Safety Advisor, You'll
- Coach and mentor teams on health and safety best practice.
- Identify, develop and deliver relevant health and safety training.
- Maintain accurate departmental health and safety training records.
- Coordinate health surveillance requirements, referrals, testing and associated records.
- Advise leaders and managers on health and safety compliance.
- Support inspections, audits and active and reactive safety monitoring.

About You
To be successful as the Health & Safety Advisor, you'll have:
- Relevant experience providing professional health and safety advice and guidance.
- Strong knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
- Experience supporting health and safety inspections, audits and compliance monitoring.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and advise stakeholders.
- An organised approach to maintaining training, surveillance and compliance records.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
