Fire Safety Specialist

A leading residential organisation is seeking to appoint a Fire Safety Specialist to join an award-winning safety team that is helping to shape the future of residential building safety across the UK.

This is a rare opportunity to influence the strategic direction of fire safety within a complex residential portfolio, working alongside some of the sector's most respected professionals. The successful candidate will provide expert technical leadership across fire engineering, regulatory compliance, and risk management, ensuring the organisation continues to set the benchmark for best practice.

  • Working closely with senior leadership, operational teams, and specialist consultants, you will lead the development of the organisation's Fire Safety Strategy.
  • Review complex fire engineering submissions, Fire Safety Strategies, and FRAEWs.
  • Support the preparation of Safety Case Reports for higher-risk buildings.
  • Provide technical assurance across a diverse residential portfolio.
  • Advise on legislative change.
  • Develop competency programmes.
  • Commission specialist consultants where required.
  • Support the continual improvement of fire safety governance and operational standards.

This position offers the opportunity to influence not only organisational strategy but also wider industry best practice, playing a key role in delivering safer homes and embedding a proactive, risk-based approach to fire safety.
