About the role
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of Health & Safety records, systems and document libraries.
- Support the review and management of risk assessments, Safety Data Sheets and other Health & Safety documentation.
- Process inspection, audit and incident records, ensuring actions are recorded and tracked to completion.
- Assist with the administration of Health & Safety training, software platforms and wellbeing programmes.
- Maintain Health & Safety communications, intranet content and routine performance reports.
- Develop professional Health & Safety knowledge by supporting inspections, audits, incident investigations and ISO 45001 improvement activities.

- All expectations, tasks and responsibilities of this role relate to all Dräger Group entities in UK and Ireland.

Reporting Relationships
Manager: Head of Health & Safety UK/I
Size of team/environment: Close team of 4 people, based on large manufacturing site.
Role Requirements
Education/Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- A willingness to learn and undertake a recognised Health & Safety qualification as part of the apprenticeship programme.
Related Experience
- No previous Health & Safety experience required.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office applications and online systems through school, college, part-time employment or personal projects.
- Experience of organising information, records or coursework accurately and meeting deadlines would be advantageous.
Skills, Special Competencies
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to personal development.
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
