Health & Safety & Business Administrator
Location: Daventry (Office-based, 5 days per week)
Salary: Up to £38,000 (up to £40,000 for an exceptional candidate) + Company Bonus
We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Health & Safety & Business Administrator to join our team of around 80 employees. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Around 50% of your time will be dedicated to Health & Safety administration and compliance, with the remaining 50% supporting HR, fleet management and wider business operations.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being busy, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is happy to roll up their sleeves to support different areas of the business. You'll become a key member of the team, working closely with managers across the organisation to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety (50%)
- Coordinate Health & Safety administration across the business.
- Maintain compliance records, training logs and certification renewals.
- Support audits, risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Liaise with external Health & Safety providers and contractors.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant.
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the business.

Business Support (50%)
- Provide HR administration, including onboarding, employee records, absence and training administration.
- Support fleet administration, including servicing, MOTs, vehicle records and driver documentation.
- Coordinate office facilities, suppliers and general business administration.
- Organise meetings, visitors, office supplies and company equipment.
- Assist with business projects, events and operational improvements.
- Provide administrative support across multiple departments as business needs evolve.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things organised. You'll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities and happy supporting different teams wherever needed.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in administration, business support or office coordination.
- Experience supporting Health & Safety administration or compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to work independently.
- Experience supporting HR, fleet administration, facilities or operations would be highly advantageous.
