About us

Halfords is on a journey - building the future of motoring and cycling and looking for people who want to help shape what comes next. We’re a place for co-creators: people who want to make a real impact, take ownership and be part of something that’s still evolving.

As the UK’s leading retailer of motoring and cycling products, we’re supported by one of the country’s largest independent vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair networks through Halfords Autocentres. This breadth gives us a strong, stable foundation - and the freedom to keep innovating and growing.

That means real variety for our colleagues, along with the opportunity to learn, stretch and develop as the business moves forward. Whatever your role, you’ll be part of a team focused on delivering exceptional service - using your expertise to solve problems, guide customers and help keep the nation moving with confidence.

About the role

As a Health & Safety Business Partner (Logistics), you will play a key role in creating and maintaining a strong health and safety culture across multiple sites. Working closely with managers and colleagues, you will help drive positive behaviours, support safer ways of working, and encourage teams to take ownership of health and safety in their day-to-day roles.

You'll build strong relationships across Halfords Logistics and the wider business, providing expert support and guidance to ensure health and safety standards are consistently met. By monitoring performance and reviewing the effectiveness of safety processes, you'll identify opportunities for improvement and help embed best practice across our operations.

This is a highly collaborative and influential role, where you'll challenge and support leaders to remain focused on key business risks while driving continuous improvement. If you're passionate about making a real difference, influencing positive change, and creating safer workplaces, we'd love to hear from you.

Working pattern: 2 days at our Washford Distribution Centre, 2 days at our Coventry Distribution Centre, and 1 day at either location, depending on business needs. Occasional home working may be available.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
