We're looking for an enthusiastic Health & Safety / CDM Consultant to join our growing team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is early in their career and looking to develop their knowledge, gain exposure to a wide variety of projects and learn from experienced professionals within one of the UK's leading independent real estate consultancies. Based on our existing role profile, you'll support the delivery of Health & Safety and CDM services across commercial property projects, working alongside colleagues who are invested in helping you grow and succeed.
Whether you already have some experience in a CDM, Principal Designer or Health & Safety role, or you're looking to build on a strong foundation within the built environment, you'll find plenty of opportunity to develop your technical expertise while working on meaningful projects across the real estate sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full range of health and safety service instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, residential, retail and industrial
- Deliver Health and safety service projects to job manager level competency as Principal Designer, CDM Advisor and Advisor to the Principal Designer
- Undertake Construction Site Safety Inspections periodically
- Assist with service business development
- Adherence to and provide advice on general Health & Safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with contractors, designers and clients providing risk analysis of design plans
Your Profile
- 1-2+ years experience in CDM related role such as Principal Designer, Health & Safety or CDM advisor
- Enthusiastic and keen to progress professionally alongside a dynamic team
- Knowledge of working on commercial construction projects and within building services
- Knowledge of the CDM2015 Regulations and its delivery
- NEBOSH construction certificate
- Full UK Driving license and flexible to travel as required
