We are seeking an experienced HS&E Advisor to take ownership of Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives across our UK sites. This is a highly visible role where you'll champion best practice, lead compliance activities, support sustainability objectives and help foster a positive, proactive safety culture.

What You'll Be Doing
As HS&E Advisor, you'll be the go-to subject matter expert for all health, safety and environmental matters, partnering with managers and teams across the business to ensure a safe, compliant and high-performing working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading HS&E improvement programmes and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Supporting and maintaining ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 management systems.
- Conducting workplace inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Identifying hazards, maintaining risk registers and supporting risk assessment activities.
- Investigating incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, implementing preventative actions.
- Delivering engaging HS&E training, inductions and awareness initiatives.
- Managing HS&E reporting systems and producing meaningful performance data.
- Acting as a key point of contact for regulatory and compliance matters.
- Facilitating safety meetings and driving workforce engagement.
- Supporting environmental and energy management activities and associated reporting.
- Reviewing and improving policies, procedures and controls to reduce risk and enhance performance.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an energetic and proactive HS&E professional who can influence at all levels and inspire positive behavioural change.
Essential Skills & Experience
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
- Experience within a Health, Safety and Environment role.
- Knowledge of UK HS&E legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting audits and supporting management systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with the confidence to challenge and influence when required.
