Location: Muir of Ord
Salary: £45,000-£48,000
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a busy manufacturing environment and support the continued development of health, safety and environmental standards across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for an HSE professional who enjoys a hands-on, varied role and wants to make a genuine impact on workplace safety, environmental performance and continuous improvement.
The Role
Working closely with the HSE Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of the Health, Safety & Environmental function, ensuring information, processes and reporting are maintained accurately and effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and administration of site HSE processes and systems
- Preparing and delivering HSE inductions for employees and contractors
- Supporting HSE audits and external inspections
- Maintaining HSE databases, records and KPI reporting
- Supporting incident reporting, investigations, follow-up and corrective actions
- Researching relevant HSE legislation, regulations and guidance
- Creating and delivering Toolbox Talks and relevant HSE training
- Supporting environmental initiatives, particularly waste management and energy efficiency
- Assisting with HAZOPs, fire safety activities and other site HSE requirements
- Supporting ESG and energy performance reporting
- Working with site teams to continually improve health, safety, quality and environmental performance

About You
We're looking for someone with experience in an HSE/SHE/EHS role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and requirements
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to research information and present findings clearly
- Experience supporting audits, inspections and compliance activities
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine commitment to continuous improvement across HSE
