We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in South East Scotland.
Working for an established contracting company, you will support the delivery of a safe and compliant construction project, working closely with site management, contractors and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Support the implementation of HSE procedures and systems.
- Review RAMS and safe systems of work.
- Lead toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings.
- Assist with incident and near-miss investigations.
- Monitor compliance with UK health and safety legislation.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project.

Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in an HSE/Safety Advisor role within construction, energy, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience with RAMS, risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- CSCS or relevant site safety card desirable.

Previous experience on BESS, renewable energy, power or utilities projects would be highly advantageous.
This is a long-term contract opportunity offering the chance to work on a major energy infrastructure project.
