Main Purpose
We're looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality department, reporting directly to the Head of HSEQ. Working across our civil engineering, bulk earthworks and demolition sites, you'll play a key role in driving high standards of health, safety and quality compliance, supporting site teams with practical, hands-on guidance and ensuring the business meets its legislative and management system obligations.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out HSEQ visits to PPOC civil engineering, bulk earthworks and demolition sites on a two-week rota
- Complete inspection and audit reports using Safety Culture
- Produce reports and data analysis using Safety Culture
- Develop and deliver toolbox talks to site management and operatives
- Carry out accident and incident investigations, producing relevant reports and learning outcomes
- Maintain a good working knowledge of health & safety legislation, providing practical and compliant advice to the business
- Understand the requirements of ISO 9001, 18001 and 45001, and audit against the relevant clauses

Person Specification
Essential
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum requirement)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a construction-related industry
- Good working knowledge of current H&S legislation
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 18001 and 45001
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to sites throughout the UK
Additional Information
- The successful candidate must be able to obtain security clearance at security-vetted sites
- As PPOC's site locations are based throughout the UK, this role entails extensive driving
- A company car or car allowance is provided to support travel between sites
