EHS Officer

£35,000 - £40,000 + 33 Days Holiday + Life Assurance + Progression + Additional Company Benefits Package

You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Middleton, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Heywood, Stockport, Holmfirth, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Littleborough. Other locations will also be considered.

Do you have experience in EHS and looking for a role within a special purpose manufacturing who are passionate about further development and progression?

In this role you will work to oversee Environmental, Health and Safety functions and issues across a busy manufacturing business within a company well known for their excellent benefits package.

The company are established on a global scale and supply their products across a wide range of industries which include; aerospace, automotive and more. Due to a continued period of the growth they are now looking to expand headcount and invest at all levels of the business.

This role would suit someone with prior experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety based position looking for a long-term permanent position within a forward-thinking company.

The Role:

  • Overseeing and attending to EHS-related issues within a busy manufacturing company and working to make EHS-based improvements
  • Duties of the role will include but are not limited to; EHS policies, Continuous Improvement, Documentation, COOSH, ISO’s and much more.

The Person:

  • Previous experience in Environmental, Health and Safety
  • You will ideally hold a NEBOSH or similar level qualification
  • You will ideally have previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing based environment
  • Any further environmental or H&S qualifications will be considered beneficial
  • Looking for a long-term permanent position
