At Premier Foods, we're passionate about creating great food and a great place to work. We're looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental strategy at our Moreton site, driving a positive safety culture and ensuring we maintain the highest standards across our operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused HSE professional who can influence at all levels, champion continuous improvement and help shape the future of safety and environmental performance across the site.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the site's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy in line with legal, regulatory and business requirements.
  • Driving a positive behavioural safety culture through engagement, coaching and leadership.
  • Delivering HSE improvement plans and performance programmes.
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on HSE performance to support business objectives.
  • Leading site environmental initiatives and compliance programmes.
  • Managing and developing the HSE team to maximise performance and capability.
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure compliance standards are maintained and continuously improved

What we need from you:

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical HSE knowledge with excellent leadership and influencing skills.

You'll ideally have:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Internal Auditor training
  • Experience developing policies, procedures and safe systems of work
  • Experience delivering HSE training and driving behavioural change
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • The ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation
