Requirements
- Own the management systems: Maintain and improve Bohr’s ISO 9001 (Quality) certification, as well as look after and eventually implement the environmental (ISO 14001) and Occupational H&S (ISO 45001) systems, ensuring documents are current, controlled and useful.

- Incident management: Lead incident and near-miss investigations using root-cause methods (e.g. 5 Whys, fishbone); track actions to closure and share learning.
- Project support: Partner with Project Managers from bid through delivery - H&S plans, environmental aspects/impacts, quality plans, materials traceability, supplier quality.
- Training & culture: Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and targeted training; coach leaders and supervisors; promote reporting, learning and continuous improvement.
- Supply chain assurance: Pre-qualify and audit contractors and key suppliers; manage quality/HS&E requirements in contracts and performance reviews.
- Reporting & KPIs: Produce clear HSE dashboards (e.g. audit completion, NCRs/CAPA, environmental metrics, training compliance) and board-level insights.
- Sustainability & environment: Oversee waste, emissions and spill prevention controls; support ESG initiatives and client sustainability requirements.
- Emergency readiness: Maintain emergency response plans and drills; ensure suitable equipment and competent first aiders/fire wardens.
- Leadership: Line-manage HSE Advisors/Coordinators (as applicable); set priorities and develop capability across the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
