Overview
TRC is seeking a Health & Safety Inspector to join our operations in the Exton, PA area. The position requires a technical safety service background providing industrial safety, construction safety and/or safety auditing.
The position will focus on providing health & safety compliance consulting and helping clients to improve their performance to their applicable health and safety goals and objectives. This position will support our national platform to deliver Safety Compliance Programs & Performance Improvement Services.
Responsibilities
- Health & safety risk identification and evaluation.
- Performing hazard evaluations to include fixed ladder assessments, confined space evaluations and job hazard analysis (JHA) and PPE assessments.
- Lockout/tagout procedure development.
- Development and implementation of written health & safety programs (e.g., hazard communication, lockout tagout, confined space, working from heights, hazardous materials storage, hot work, machine guarding, etc.).
- Health & safety compliance inspections to evaluate conformance with applicable OSHA and company internal requirements.
- Construction or field service safety oversight.
- Scheduling site visits to match client service team schedules.
- Coordinate activity of all staff assigned to the project.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
- Work with client account managers and account teams to meet client expectations and increase services provided to the client.
- Assisting a variety of industrial operations including power, chemical, food & beverage, aerospace, forest products, rail transportation, oil & gas, retail, etc.

Qualifications
- 2-5 years of safety experience preferably in a construction or field service environment.
- Experience conducting OSHA health & safety audits.
- Intuitive and creative thinker. Understanding of their surroundings and reasons that services are being provided. A consultative demeanor and ability to work with clients and the ability to identify and offer solutions when needed.
- Have strong communications and technical health & safety skills both written and oral.
- Work as a team player to support our national service platform.
- Interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees.
- Ability to carry equipment such as ladders and air monitoring equipment up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
- Be able to wear a respirator, safety harness and other safety equipment as needed.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.

Compensation
In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Salary Range
USD $33.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
Other Compensation
Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
