Health & Safety Manager - FM

Based in Greater Belfast

Exclusive partnership with a leading Estate / Facilities Management organisation

Job Overview

Delighted to partner with this leading organisation who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to their leadership Team. The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for leading the organisation’s health and safety function. The role forms part of the organisation’s management function and works closely with the Facilities Manager, senior managers and operational leads to ensure that health, safety and facilities-related risks are identified, managed and escalated appropriately.

Education & Competencies

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Facilities Management, or a related field E.G. NEBOSH Diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management and with facilities management knowledge
  • Ability to work in various environments, including office settings, residential/school/ day care facilities, and outdoor areas.
  • Strong Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and best practice.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to produce board reports, business cases and presentations.
  • Commitment to highest standards in Health and Safety.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Additional Requirements

  • Current driving licence and access to a car for business use.
  • Available to work occasional evenings and weekends (on call rota).
  • Valid work permit.
  • Access NI check.
