The Klondyke Group trading as William Strike Ltd are a group of 24 Garden Centres and Restaurants across Scotland, England, and North Wales with our Head Office in Grangemouth.

Due to Company growth, we have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our team based in our Head Office in Grangemouth.

The Role

We're looking for an ambitious Health & Safety professional who has built a strong foundation in operational safety and is ready to move into a management role. If you're passionate about people, culture, and making a real difference, not just ticking compliance boxes, this could be your opportunity.

Reporting to an experienced Head of Property, Safety & Sustainability, you'll receive coaching and mentoring while taking ownership of health & safety across a portfolio of 24 garden centres and restaurants.

This is a field-based role Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week which may involve overnight stays and will require flexibility in working hours.

What you will be doing as Health & Safety Manager:

  • Drive a positive, proactive safety culture across multiple sites
  • Coach and influence managers to take ownership of safety
  • Lead on risk management, fire safety, and contractor management
  • Investigate incidents, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with operational teams to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions
  • Work with insurers, brokers, and external partners to reduce risk and claims

What makes you our perfect Health & Safety Manager:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate qualified (working towards Diploma desirable)
  • Experience in a multi-site retail, hospitality, or similar environment
  • A confident communicator who can influence and engage at all levels
  • Passionate about behavioural safety and culture change
  • Practical, pragmatic, and solutions-focused
  • Full UK driving licence
