About the Opportunity…
In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with leaders and frontline teams to turn safety strategy into practical action, strengthen safety capability, and embed a proactive safety culture that delivers lasting impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive Safety That Makes a Difference - Develop and implement practical health and safety initiatives that support long-term cultural change and improve safety performance.
- Be Visible Where It Matters - Provide hands-on health and safety support within Distribution Centres, partnering closely with operational teams and leaders.
- Build Leadership Capability - Coach and influence leaders at all levels to strengthen ownership, accountability and safe ways of working.
- Strengthen Compliance & Standards - Support the effective implementation of health and safety frameworks, procedures and legislative requirements.
- Partner Across the Business - Build trusted relationships with operational leaders, people teams and key stakeholders to drive positive safety outcomes.
- Turn Insights into Action - Support incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk and strengthen safety performance.

What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated Safety Expertise - Proven experience in a Health & Safety Specialist, Advisor or similar safety-focused role.
- Strong Technical Capability - Sound health and safety knowledge with the ability to apply legislation, frameworks and best practice in operational environments.
- Operational Environment Experience - Experience within fast-paced distribution, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or similar operational settings will be highly regarded.
- Build Trusted Partnerships - Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish credibility across all levels.
- Influence Change Through Leadership - Ability to coach, influence and constructively challenge leaders and teams to drive improved safety outcomes.
- Proactive Problem Solver - A practical and proactive approach to risk management, problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Communicate with Impact - Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex safety requirements into clear, practical actions.
