Creative Support is a national, fast-growing organisation with charitable status providing care and support to people across England with a wide range of needs. We are also a Registered Social Landlord managing over 1,000 units of supported housing. Creative Support is regulated by the CQC and Regulator of Social Housing and must achieve high standards of health and safety compliance. As a large employer of over 5,000 staff nationally we promote a culture of safety awareness, compliance and good practice, with a commitment to keeping our staff and the people we support safe.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic applicant to join our Health & Safety Team as Team Leader. The Health & Safety Team of six (including Advisors & Administrators) lead safety across the organisation – undertaking safety inspections, offering advice, ensuring safe management of equipment and responding to incidents & accidents. As Team Leader you would be responsible for effective deployment, support, management and ongoing development of the team. You would also take on case management responsibilities, complete investigations and lead on keeping delivery in line with legislation. We believe in collaboration and this post would link in with a range of key internal and external stakeholders to drive safety and quality.

Full-time or part-time hours are available but some flexibility will be required around travel. The post will be based in our Head Office in Stockport with no remote working. Our offices are readily accessible on public transport as we are based in the centre of Stockport close to the mainline train station. Applicants should preferably hold a full driving license and be willing to travel across the country as required.
