Health Services Intermediate Data Analyst
Remote / Hybrid UK
Permanent | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week
£40,500 - £46,000 dependant on experience plus Fantastic Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing analytics team where you'll work with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality reporting, automation solutions, and data-driven improvements. You'll combine technical expertise with commercial awareness to help shape and influence business decisions.
How you'll help us make health happen
As an Intermediate Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. You'll lead analysis projects, develop reporting solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives across Health Services.
You'll:
- Lead complex analytical projects and provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and optimise dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Use advanced Excel capabilities to support modelling, reporting and process automation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding business requirements and influencing decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive automation initiatives.
- Analyse healthcare-related data to support operational and strategic goals.
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and maintain scripts, queries and statistical models using SQL, Python and/or R.
- Support the development of junior analysts through coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Design, optimise and automate data pipelines using Snowflake, ensuring data quality and performance.

What you'll bring
We're looking for an experienced data professional who can combine strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Essential:
- Significant experience in data analysis, reporting and dashboard development.
- Advanced Power BI and/or Tableau experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including automation and modelling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python and/or R.
- Experience working with Snowflake, including data modelling, automation and optimisation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Experience delivering process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Experience mentoring colleagues or supporting team development.
- Knowledge of healthcare data, processes or healthcare service environments.
Desirable:
- Experience working within healthcare analytics or clinical data environments.
- Project management experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or improvement programmes.
