To be an effective member of a multidisciplinary Health Visiting Team that promote the health and wellbeing of pre-school aged children in a designated caseload. To provide and organise a comprehensive high level, efficient, accurate and prompt administrative service to the Health Visiting Team and assist in the smooth running of the service. The post holder deals with highly sensitive and confidential issues relating to issues affecting the clients and their families.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main Duties of the Job
- Undertake clerical and word processing duties as directed by the team.
- Deal with enquiries either on the telephone or face to face from health professionals, colleagues and the public, under the guidance of the Health Visiting Team.
- File reports / letters or relevant information following relevant protocols.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and distribute accordingly.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
Provide and admin & clerical support to the Health Visiting teams within their allocated bases
- Correct and accurate use of patient information using the patient administration systems including the Child Health System.
- To maintain case notes in good condition.
