Job Opportunity: Health Visitor
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Health Visitor with current practice experience to work on a full-time, permanent basis within the Health Visiting team based at Falkirk Central, Falkirk Community Hospital, NHS Forth Valley.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Health Visiting team, working with a varied client population including children and families with additional and complex needs. The post covers the Falkirk area and contributes to the delivery of the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.
Responsibilities
- Work with a varied client population including children and families with additional and complex needs.
- Contribute to the delivery of the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.
- Manage caseloads, ensuring effective child protection and safeguarding.
- Deliver health improvement interventions.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Travel throughout the area of service delivery.

Requirements
- Experience in caseload management, child protection and safeguarding.
- Experience working with families presenting with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
