We are currently looking for SCPH Qualified Health Visitors to join our team on either a full or part time basis!

If you are a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Health Visitor, you could be part of our forward-thinking, vibrant team.

About the Role

You will work within Reading to deliver core and targeted services to children aged 0–5 and their families. We maintain a team-focused approach and use technology to support our service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement outcome focused care plans and evaluate care given, in partnership with clients.
  • Provide support to families using the Solihull approach model in behaviour management, parenting skills, and delivering programmes of care to vulnerable families.
  • Develop and facilitate Health Visiting drop-in clinics, health promotion activities, and groups.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies.
  • A passion for working with children and families.
  • Commitment to teamwork, flexibility, and partnership working.
  • Collaboration with Children’s Centres to deliver the Healthy Child Programme underpinned by the Solihull Approach.
