BitePRO®, part of the PPSS Group, designs, manufactures and supplies specialist personal protective clothing developed to protect healthcare professionals from human bites and related workplace violence. Trusted by healthcare providers, mental health services, secure units and specialist care organisations across the UK and internationally, BitePRO is committed to delivering innovative protective solutions and exceptional customer service. As our Healthcare division continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Healthcare Account Manager to support existing customers and help expand our presence within the global healthcare sector.
The Role
The Healthcare Account Manager will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of healthcare customers while developing new business opportunities within the sector.
This is a relationship-focused sales role that combines account management, customer support and business development. The successful candidate will act as a trusted point of contact for customers, helping them identify the most appropriate solutions while supporting the continued growth of the BitePRO Healthcare division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with existing healthcare customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through repeat business, product adoption and account growth.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, marketing campaigns and industry networking.
- Arrange and conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations and presentations, both virtually and in person.
- Follow up quotations, enquiries and sales opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities and sales activity within the CRM system.
- Monitor customer feedback, market trends and competitor activity, sharing insights with the wider team.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Customer Service and Operations to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Achieve individual sales and activity targets while contributing to team objectives.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a sales, account management or customer-facing commercial role.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to develop new business opportunities alongside managing existing accounts.
- Well organised with strong attention to detail and follow-up discipline.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
- Ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable
- Experience selling products or services into the healthcare sector.
- Experience working with healthcare providers, hospitals, mental health services or care organisations.
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Exposure to international customers or export sales.
- Experience using Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an individual who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and is motivated by achieving results. You will be comfortable working independently, managing your own pipeline of opportunities and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
A background in healthcare sales is desirable but not essential. We are equally interested in candidates with strong account management or B2B sales experience who are keen to develop their knowledge of the healthcare sector.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 per annum
- Additional Pay:
- Uncapped commission scheme
- Expected OTE of £35,000+
