YOUR ROLE

Our air product team in Hounslow, London have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Air Pricing Analyst to join the team! This is an analytical and commercially focused role, responsible for developing accurate, competitive and profitable airfreight pricing solutions for healthcare customers.

This is a hybrid Monday to Friday role.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting to the Air Freight Pricing Manager, you will take ownership of pricing opportunities within the UK healthcare airfreight market, combining your airfreight pricing expertise with an understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics. You will develop accurate, competitive and commercially viable end-to-end pricing solutions for spot quotations, contracts and RFQ/RFP opportunities, ensuring proposals meet customer requirements while protecting sustainable margins and adhering to agreed deadlines.

Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will build and analyse pricing models that reflect the specific operational, regulatory and risk requirements of healthcare shipments, including temperature-controlled handling, specialist equipment, carrier requirements, risk premiums and other operational constraints.

You will negotiate and challenge rates, using commercial judgement and market insight to develop the most effective solutions for customers. You will collaborate with internal teams to support both existing and new business opportunities, ensuring appropriate commercial controls, approvals and pricing governance are in place. You will also use market intelligence and pricing performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, strengthen pricing strategies and enhance overall commercial performance.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in airfreight pricing, freight forwarding or a similar commercial environment, with a strong understanding of freight management. You will have experience building end-to-end airfreight quotations and managing complex spot quotes, RFQs and tenders. You will have a good understanding of airfreight costs, carrier pricing, routing, accessorial charges, rate validity, surcharges, margin management and large pricing-file analysis. Strong attention to detail, commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge are essential, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver accurate solutions to fixed deadlines.

It would be desirable to have experience of pricing within healthcare, pharmaceutical, life-sciences or other regulated supply chains. Knowledge of GDP and temperature-controlled airfreight as well as active and passive packaging solutions, would be advantageous.
