Healthcare and Sports Litigation Paralegal

Department: Legal

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: London UK

Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious law graduate looking to launch their career in Healthcare and Sports Litigation. Working directly with two highly respected Partners, you'll gain hands-on experience on complex, high-profile cases from day one, developing your skills in a fast-paced and specialist area of law.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the handling of complex healthcare and sports litigation matters
  • Review and analyse medical records, preparing detailed chronologies and evidence summaries
  • Prepare electronic bundles and court documentation for hearings, conferences and trials
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, counsel, experts and witnesses throughout the litigation process
  • Coordinate conferences, hearings, Joint Settlement Meetings (JSMs) and trials
  • Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation
  • Deliver high standards of client service while meeting performance and chargeable hours targets

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • 2:1 Law degree (or equivalent) essential
  • Litigation experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, motivated and eager to learn
  • Strong IT and administrative skills
  • A collaborative team player with a client-focused approach
