Your Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll play a vital part in our residents' daily lives, supporting not just their care needs, but also emotional reassurance, happiness, and wellbeing too.
You'll help residents:
- Feel comfortable, safe, and respected
- Stay engaged through meaningful conversations and activities
- Maintain their independence wherever possible

What You'll Be Doing

Development Pathways
We believe in investing in our people through qualifications and mentoring.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to progress to an Enhanced Healthcare Assistant role through our comprehensive training and competency programme. This development pathway will enable you to:
- Safely administer medication following competency assessments.
- Carry out basic clinical observations and report concerns appropriately.
- Lead by example, promoting high standards of person-centred care.
- Support and mentor new colleagues during their induction and development.
- Work alongside Team Leads to support the smooth running of each shift.
- Build the knowledge and confidence needed to progress into senior care roles in the future.

Pay Scale
No Qualifications
- £13.00 per hour
- £16.25 per hour (Weekend Rate)
- £26.00 per hour (Bank Holidays)
Care Certificate or above qualification in care
(Don't have your Care Certificate yet, we'll support you to achieve it!)
- £13.50 per hour
- £16.88 per hour (weekends)
- £27.00 per hour (bank holidays)
Enhanced
- £13.90 per hour
- £17.38 per hour (weekends)
- £27.80 per hour (bank holidays)
