Healthcare Assistant | Shawfair Park Hospital | Out-Patients | Permanent – 30 hours a week
Spire Shawfair Park has an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients department. This role would ideally suit someone who is very flexible to work ad hoc shift patterns.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the nursing team within the Outpatient Department
- Undertake clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse, and ECGs
- Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Prepare patients for consultations and treatments
- Ensure clinics run efficiently and provide excellent patient care throughout the patient journey
- Maintain accurate patient records and support day-to-day department administration
Who we're looking for:
- SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential
- Must have previous experience working as an HCA in a hospital setting, surgical ward, or clinic experience
- Experience in phlebotomy
- System literacy is essential; MS Office and SAP is desirable
- Must be accurate and have a strong desire for attention to detail
