🚨 We Are Hiring – Healthcare Assistant | Ultrasound Department

Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Surrey, England (On-site)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Salary: Competitive – aligned with NHS Band 2/3 rates

The Role

We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Ultrasound Department in Surrey. This role is vital in supporting sonographers and clinical staff, ensuring patients receive safe, efficient, and reassuring care throughout their diagnostic journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and prepare patients for ultrasound examinations.
  • Provide reassurance and explain procedures clearly.
  • Assist patients with mobility and comfort during scans.
  • Support sonographers during ultrasound procedures.
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and manage patient flow.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with sonographers, radiologists, and administrative staff.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Previous healthcare assistant or patient-facing experience preferred.
