A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Senior Nurse, you can expect your working day to include the following:

  • Support the nursing and wider multi-disciplinary team, to provide excellent holistic, patient centred palliative care.
  • Be part of a highly skilled and driven team including nurses, doctors, physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Social worker, Chaplain and volunteers.
  • Daily duties supporting patients with their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assisting with personal care, toileting, bathing, dressing and meals.
  • Working within a friendly, dynamic, positive and vibrant environment.
