Healthcare Assistant wanted to join our Clinical team in Blackpool!
Contract – Bank
Hours – Part-time
Location – Newfield House, Vicarage Lane, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY4 4EW
Salary – £13.26 an hour
Main duties of the role
- Support the delivery of healthcare services to vulnerable and complex patient groups, working alongside clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centred care.
- Duties include supporting clinical assessments, undertaking wound care, ECGs, observations and venepuncture, promoting health and wellbeing, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records, contribute to achieving service targets and QOF requirements, and ensure care is delivered in line with local and national guidelines.
- The postholder will manage their workload effectively, adhere to safeguarding, infection control and risk management procedures, and demonstrate compassionate, professional and non-judgemental care at all times.
