Job Description

Primcura Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to work in a dementia care home in New Romney, providing 1:1 support to residents.

We're looking for caring, reliable people who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and treating every person with dignity and respect.

Duties Include

  • Providing 1:1 support to residents with dementia.
  • Assisting with personal care.
  • Supporting residents with eating, drinking and daily routines.
  • Encouraging independence where possible.
  • Monitoring residents and reporting any concerns.
  • Following care plans and working as part of the care team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 months’ UK care or support experience
  • Experience providing personal care
  • A calm, patient, and compassionate approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
  • Understanding of sensory needs/deaf awareness is beneficial (or willingness to learn)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum availability of 24 hours per week
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one – we can help with this)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
