Job Description
Primcura Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to work in a dementia care home in New Romney, providing 1:1 support to residents.
We're looking for caring, reliable people who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and treating every person with dignity and respect.
Duties Include
- Providing 1:1 support to residents with dementia.
- Assisting with personal care.
- Supporting residents with eating, drinking and daily routines.
- Encouraging independence where possible.
- Monitoring residents and reporting any concerns.
- Following care plans and working as part of the care team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months’ UK care or support experience
- Experience providing personal care
- A calm, patient, and compassionate approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
- Understanding of sensory needs/deaf awareness is beneficial (or willingness to learn)
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum availability of 24 hours per week
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one – we can help with this)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
