About the Role
Are you a caring and compassionate HealthCare Support Worker looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust? Beech ward, based at Yeatman Hospital, Sherborne is looking for either someone who has experience or new to care (training is available) to join our supportive team.
As a HealthCare Support Worker you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, in a 12 bedded ward who provide sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation, Palliative / End of Life care for the local and wider community. Our Elderly Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit achieved a nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care. Our team are a close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on always going the extra mile.

Job Details
The post is a full-time/part-time role, we would be flexible and accept part-time applications with a minimum of 12 hours.
Shifts
- Long days 0730-2030
- Weekend and public holidays at enhanced pay!

Requirements
You will need enthusiasm and a commitment to provide the highest standards of care to patients, relatives and carers, and the ability to provide professional clinical leadership. You will need to have an interest in working with older people and have good communication and organisational skills.
