About Welbeck Oxford

Welbeck is bringing a brand-new, state-of-the-art private healthcare centre to Oxford, marking an exciting phase of growth for the organisation. The facility will offer a wide range of specialist services delivered by leading clinicians, supported by cutting edge technology and a strong focus on patient-centred, same day care. With a variety of new roles being created across clinical and operational teams, Welbeck Oxford presents an opportunity to join an innovative, forward-thinking environment that is set to redefine private healthcare provision in the area.

About the role

Our Healthcare Assistants support the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care across a range of specialist clinics. Working alongside consultants, registered nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will assist with clinical and non-clinical duties including preparing clinic rooms, supporting minor procedures, recording patient observations, performing delegated clinical tasks, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.

We currently have opportunities in the following areas:

  • Imaging – Our Imaging & Diagnostics team delivers consultant-led diagnostics across a range of specialties. In this department, you'll support patients through their diagnostic journey, helping to ensure a safe, accurate and reassuring experience from arrival to discharge.
  • Outpatients – Our Outpatients Department provides specialist consultations, diagnostic testing, minor procedures, phlebotomy services and follow-up care across a range of clinical specialties. HCA's in this department support nurses and the wider MDT in delivering a smooth, patient-focused service, from patient preparation to chaperoning and general clinical support.
  • Procedure Suite – Our Procedure Suite combines minor procedures and endoscopy services in a fast-paced, multi-specialty setting. In this department, HCA's play a key role in preparing patients and procedure rooms, supporting clinical teams during procedures, and ensuring patients are cared for before and after their treatment.
  • Theatres – Our Surgery Centre offers day surgery across a wide range of specialties, supported by leading consultants. There are two areas within theatres where we use HCA's:
    • Theatre team – supporting the clinical team across a multi-specialty theatre environment during surgical procedures.
    • Pre/Post-Op Pods team – caring for patients before and after surgery, supporting their comfort, safety and recovery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
