Are you a caring, compassionate individual looking for a flexible role within a supportive healthcare environment?

We are looking for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our Sexual Health Service across Leicestershire and Rutland. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality sexual health care within both our main clinic locations (inreach) and community outreach (spoke) settings.

With a variety of part-time hours available, this role offers flexibility while providing a rewarding opportunity to support patients accessing essential sexual health services.

About The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting clinicians to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care. You will play a key role in ensuring our clinics run smoothly, helping patients feel welcomed, respected and supported throughout their journey.

The role involves working across both hub and outreach locations throughout Leicestershire and Rutland, providing a diverse and engaging working environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing clinic rooms and equipment.
  • Supporting clinicians during patient consultations and procedures.
  • Undertaking routine observations and assisting with patient care.
  • Supporting sexual health screening and health promotion activities.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Ensuring high standards of infection prevention and control.
  • Providing a professional, confidential and non-judgemental service to all patients.
  • Supporting service delivery across a range of clinic locations.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A willingness to travel across the Leicestershire and Rutland service area is essential.
