Job Title: Healthcare Assistant with Deputy Manager Responsibilities

Location: Stockport

Contract Type: Permanent - 37.5 Hours

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work alongside our multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. You will assist with patient admission and discharge processes, provide support during clinical activities, monitor and care for patients within your scope of practice, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment.

As part of this role, we are looking for the successful candidate to take on additional Deputy Manager duties. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to step into the role of Deputy Manager alongside their Healthcare Assistant responsibilities. This role will provide essential leadership support at site level, working closely with the Hospital Manager to maintain excellent standards of quality, safety, and service delivery.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Can

  • Support the delivery of safe, high-quality care and a positive patient experience.
  • Help prepare clinical areas and equipment for patient appointments and procedures.
  • Ensure the smooth running of clinics and patient pathways by maintaining a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Assist with stock management, equipment checks before use, and safe storage after use.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge, core competencies, and continue to develop skills in line with service requirements.
  • Adhere to good record keeping in line with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement.
