Daintta Consulting Manager for Health and Care

Daintta is a rapidly growing, values-driven team of specialists working with public sector clients, including UK Health and Care (NHS) and government across Cyber, Telecommunications, and Data. We are seeking a talented and motivated Consulting Manager to join our team to lead on developing our Health and Care Account, with experience in delivering cyber security, data, AI services and contribute to our mission of protecting the UK through data-driven insights and solutions.

About the Role

As a Health and Care Consulting Manager, we are looking for an individual who intuitively understands our health and care clients’ needs, considers both immediate and strategic goals, and can apply their experience creatively to meet new and complex challenges. A background in health and care is essential as is transferable sector experience. In addition, a large proportion of our health and care projects are cyber security therefore a background in cyber is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client relationship: Developing strong client relationships through delivery and sales activity
  • Client Delivery: Accurately delivering high quality work to agreed timelines, taking the initiative, utilizing the strength of the wider team appropriately to support you, and knowing how to jump straight in.
  • Leadership: Taking a leading role in developing health and care clients and oversight of the portfolio of healthcare delivery
  • Sales: Taking responsibility for supporting in growing client accounts and winning new health and care opportunities
  • Stakeholder Management: Understanding our clients’ (in particular healthcare clients), needs challenges, and opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders as a trusted partner and ‘critical friend’.
  • Communication: Utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills to support presentations, reports, and broader communications to a diverse set of audiences including C-Suite stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to driving continuous improvements in all activities for the health and care account
  • Cyber Strategy and Operating Model: Supporting the development and roll out of cyber security strategies, capabilities, and operating models to meet our clients’ goals.
  • Risk Management: Undertaking risk and maturity assessments, providing strategic guidance on how to improve cybersecurity posture using a risk-based approach with articulation of mitigations/ controls and their respective impact on reducing risk.
  • Control Implementation: Implement security controls utilizing knowledge of how security controls interact with IT service delivery.
  • Growth: Helping to support & grow Daintta by actively contributing towards the company strategy and helping to shape our future.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Relevant health and care industry experience undertaking strategic, cyber security projects.
  • Strong consulting experience
  • Sales experience (desirable)
  • Experience in health and care or able to demonstrate transferable sector knowledge
  • Degree or qualification in cybersecurity, IT, or a related area, or otherwise demonstrable experience in a related field.
  • Working knowledge and/or experience of best practice industry frameworks and standards, such as NIST, CAF, and ISO27001.
  • Demonstrate continued personal development through relevant certifications, academic qualifications, hobbies, and/or wider interests.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • UK security clearance at SC or above or eligible and willing to go through clearance.

Location

Hybrid, with 2-3 days working from Daintta office (London or Cheltenham) or on client site as required.
