Role Overview
The Healthcare Strategy Director is responsible for shaping best-in-class healthcare strategy, medical communications, brand thinking, and engagement approaches across key agency accounts and major new business opportunities.
This role requires an experienced strategist who can translate complex scientific and healthcare insights into compelling narratives, campaigns, and experiences that drive behaviour change, improve patient outcomes, and deliver measurable business impact.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience across healthcare communications, medical strategy, campaign development, and live/digital engagement. They will be comfortable working across multiple channels, including events, congresses, exhibition booth design and experiences, and experiential activations, immersive experiences, and emerging technologies.
The individual will partner cross-functionally with production, creative, clinical, medical, and regulatory teams to ensure strategic recommendations are grounded in insight, scientific rigour, and audience understanding.
A strong commercial ethos will be important, as this role works closely with the head of Jack Health and Life Sciences.
Some experience from broader sectors (example, consumer, technology, telecoms, finance, or engineering) is a significant consideration in this appointment, as the wider knowledge we believe contributes to bringing new ideas to the healthcare and life-sciences space.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
