Position: Healthcare Expert

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $150–$287/hour

Location: Remote

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Operations Experts with hands-on expertise in EHR systems, clinical documentation, medical billing, medical coding, healthcare administration, and clinical workflows to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects.

You'll apply your healthcare expertise to complete structured tasks, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and provide detailed feedback that helps improve the accuracy, realism, and performance of next-generation AI systems operating in healthcare environments.

The role involves working with healthcare applications and platforms such as Epic, MyChart, Meditech, Athenahealth, CoverMyMeds, and 3M CodeFinder. No prior AI experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete structured tasks involving healthcare applications such as Epic, MyChart, Meditech, Athenahealth, CoverMyMeds, and 3M CodeFinder.
  • Evaluate AI-generated healthcare outputs for accuracy, realism, and alignment with real-world clinical and administrative workflows.
  • Apply practical knowledge of EHR systems, clinical documentation, medical billing, coding, and prior authorization processes.
  • Review healthcare scenarios involving patient records, billing cycles, coding workflows, and clinical documentation.
  • Provide detailed feedback, annotations, and evaluations according to established project guidelines.
  • Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or unrealistic outputs within AI-generated healthcare content.
  • Assess whether AI-generated workflows appropriately reflect how healthcare systems are used in practice.
  • Collaborate with project teams to maintain quality, consistency, and delivery standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on professional experience in healthcare administration, clinical documentation, medical billing/coding, or a related healthcare role.
  • Direct experience using one or more EHR or healthcare systems, such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, MyChart, or CoverMyMeds.
  • Strong understanding of clinical and healthcare administrative workflows.
  • Familiarity with medical records, billing, coding, prior authorizations, and healthcare documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines consistently.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working extensively with Epic, MyChart, Meditech, Athenahealth, CoverMyMeds, or 3M CodeFinder.
  • Background in medical coding, clinical documentation, revenue cycle management, healthcare administration, or utilization management.
  • Experience evaluating or reviewing clinical documentation and healthcare data.
  • Familiarity with healthcare AI, data annotation, quality assurance, or AI model evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of real-world clinical, administrative, and EHR workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with remote or multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation of $150–$287/hour.
