£15.33 an hour - to start as soon as possible
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Healthcare Skills Technician to support the day-to-day operation of practical skills and simulation facilities within a busy educational environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring skills rooms are fully equipped, maintained, and ready for teaching, supporting both staff and students with specialist equipment and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and clear practical teaching sessions.
- Maintain, monitor and organise healthcare skills equipment and consumables.
- Carry out basic equipment maintenance and coordinate servicing and repairs.
- Manage stock levels, purchasing, and inventory records.
- Support the use of simulation and educational technology.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Assist with equipment loans and resource relocation as required.

About You
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to undertake manual handling tasks safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a healthcare, education, laboratory, or technical support environment is desirable.
