Role Description

As a Healthcare Support Worker on our 24-bedded Dunlop Ward, which specializes in the care of long-term cardiac conditions and Acute Medicine, you will provide high standards of care to our patients while working both independently and as part of a team, prioritizing your workload to ensure quality care and demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of care to patients.

Duties include:

  • Monitoring and recording of vital signs.
  • Escorting patients off the ward for investigations/scans.
  • Assisting with personal care and nutritional support.

Requirements

  • Have some care experience.
  • Be able to work night shifts.
  • Be a caring and compassionate person.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Deliver a high standard of individualized nursing care.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Ensure own actions support the care, protection, and well-being of individuals.
  • Ensure privacy and dignity at all times.
