Job Title: Health Care Support Worker, Band 2
We are looking to recruit an experienced Band 2 Health Care Support Worker to join our nursing team within our busy Outpatients Department here at Airedale.
Full Time hours available
The above hours will be worked across Monday to Friday to meet the needs of the service. Weekends may be included in the near future.
Previous Outpatients experience within a hospital setting would be advantageous, but if you are a dynamic team player and a team leader and up for a challenge of working across a variety of specialities then you could be just the person we are looking for.
This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
