Teign Ward are recruiting a Healthcare Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive team, where the successful applicant will be working as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team that is committed to providing high standards of compassionate, individualised care.
About the Ward
Our ward is a 30-bedded medical/rehabilitation ward. It admits patients directly from the Frailty Hub or transfers from acute hospitals for ongoing care and rehabilitation. As such, we see a broad range of medical conditions as well as looking after patients at the end of their life.
Preferred Experience
Previous care experience in the care of older adults would be preferable. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment and passion in providing high-quality patient care.

Our Approach to Patient Care
We have a fantastic multi-disciplinary ward team approach to patient care and always strive to ensure the patient has the best experience possible whilst with us. We are looking for a caring and compassionate person who is able to work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of individualized nursing care to our patients.

- Commitment to supporting the care, protection, and well-being of individuals, ensuring their privacy and dignity at all times
Work Schedule
This is a rotational post which includes days, nights, and weekend working.
