Are you interested in an exciting opportunity within NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital which is home to Regional and National Heart and Lung services and a major centre for orthopaedics? This flagship hospital also supports other Boards in reducing waiting times for diagnostic imaging tests.
To support a period of expansion, Radiology are seeking to grow our team of enthusiastic Health Care Support Workers. You will be instrumental to ensuring that patients have a great care experience, manage patient flow and support the Radiographers to deliver quality imaging. The department currently operates across 5 days with extended opening hours, meaning a condensed working week is possible. Full time and part time hours will be considered.
This post requires a high standard of patient care and requires good computer literacy. Experience in cannulation/venepuncture would be advantageous but full training will be given to successful candidates. The department supports further learning for HCSWs via SVQ qualifications.
