Summary

Are you passionate about improving patient access to innovative medicines and shaping sustainable healthcare solutions that create value for patients, healthcare systems, and society? At Novartis, we are looking for a Healthcare System Shaping Solutions Manager to lead patient access initiatives. In this role, you will work across internal and external stakeholders to develop, submit, and execute access strategies that help ensure patients can benefit from Novartis innovations as quickly as possible.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of local Patient Access strategies aligned with Novartis priorities and healthcare system needs.
  • Develop and manage patient access projects to support successful market access outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical, Value & Access, Public Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory Affairs to develop evidence-based access strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders and healthcare decision-makers to support sustainable access solutions.
  • Monitor market access performance and identify opportunities to improve patient access.
  • Ensure effective use of tracking systems to measure market access progress and project outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce time to market and expand patient access opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all Novartis policies, local regulations, and healthcare industry standards.
  • Report technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios associated with Novartis products within 24 hours of awareness.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Health Economics, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in Market Access, Healthcare Policy, Public Affairs, Health Economics, Value & Access, or a related healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and patient access frameworks.
  • Experience preparing and supporting market access submissions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence without authority.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 59,360.00 - 84,800.00 - 110,240.00 GBP Annual

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
