About the Role
As a Manager on our Epic EHR team, you will support innovative projects that optimize Epic systems, creating sustainable solutions that drive meaningful results. You’ll build lasting partnerships with clients, while collaborating with colleagues to solve our client’s most pressing digital challenges.

The Healthcare Technology Manager role offers the opportunity to apply your Epic HB expertise in a highly collaborative consulting environment while continuing to grow your career as part of a broader healthcare technology team. You will have the chance to broaden your advisory skills, work with collaborative project teams, and contribute to meaningful improvements for healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Epic HB subject matter expert on client engagements.
- Partner with operational and technical stakeholders to assess workflow needs and recommend Epic best-practice solutions.
- Participate in client design sessions and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Support Epic HB optimization initiatives, including workflow design, build guidance, testing, and production deployment.
- Complete Epic build directly or collaborate with client analysts to ensure solutions are implemented effectively.
- Communicate clearly with both revenue cycle leadership and IT teams, tailoring messaging to each audience.
- Contribute to broader project delivery, team collaboration, and long-term capability building within the practice.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Epic experience (preferably with strong Epic HB expertise) providing Epic consulting in hospitals and healthcare systems required.
- Current Epic Hospital Billing certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Current permanent U.S. Work authorization is required.
- Experience with Epic implementations, optimizations, or revenue cycle transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of Epic HB workflows, revenue cycle operations, and technical build processes.
- Ability to recommend solutions and advise clients, not just execute assigned build.
- The ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is an essential function of this role. While travel requirements may vary based on business need, the current average travel in the Healthcare practice is less than 50%, annually.

Compensation
The estimated base salary for this job is $130,000 - $150,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay-for-performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $156,000 - $180,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental, and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
