Hearing Aid Audiologist – Edinburgh and West Borders

We are currently seeking a HCPC qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist to provide high-quality consent-based family and adult care services in patients' homes within the Edinburgh and West Borders area.
Role Overview
- Salary: Comprehensive basic package of £40,000 per annum, supplemented with uncapped commission (paid monthly) and quarterly/annual bonuses.
- Car Allowance: £5,328 annually (dependent on performance/sales) or a company car option.

Working Arrangements
You will be appointed on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday), with occasional flexibility based on business needs. You will receive dedicated support from a diary coordinator and a supportive management team.

Key Responsibilities
As a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and recommend/best practice sales of appropriate hearing solutions, aligning with HCPC standards, BSHAA codes, and professional ethics.
- Complete detailed audiograms and patient records accurately in our Company Management System (CMS).
- Adhere to company standards, such as consultation protocols and auditory training requirements.
- Provide premium aftercare service, timely handling of queries, and proactive problem resolution.
- Maintain HCPC-required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to ensure up-to-date knowledge and skills.
Requirements
To apply, you must:
- Hold HCPC registration as a BSc (HAD), pre-registered (AD) or comparable qualification.
- Be a current or willing member of the British Society of Audiology (BSHAA).
- Maintain a valid UK/EU driving licence.
- Possess strong IT proficiency, capable of using our systems and audiometry equipment.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organisation skills to manage workloads efficiently.
