We are currently seeking an experienced Hearing Care Assistant (Audiology) to join our dedicated team across the Cheltenham and Gloucester area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and making a genuine difference in people's lives.
As a natural communicator, you'll combine excellent interpersonal skills with patience, empathy, and compassion, helping patients feel supported throughout their hearing care journey.
A full UK driving licence is essential, along with the confidence and ability to work independently across multiple locations within Cheltenham and Gloucester.

About the Role
Key Role & Responsibilities
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Exploring patient needs, by providing patients with information about their hearing aid(s), how to care for them, and wear them.
- Make minor adjustments to hearing aids.
- Wax removal via micro-suction (only if qualified)
- Produce and maintain clinical notes
- Assist customers and perform hear-care screening tests.
About you
- Valid certification as a Hearing Care Assistant or equivalent
- Experience in performing ear wax removal procedures ideally qualified as an ear wax removal specialist although training for this could be provided for the right person.
- Knowledge of hearing aids and hearing aid fittings
- We are seeking someone who has excellent communication skills, who is driven, initiative-taking and ambitious to succeed. It is important that you have a friendly professional manner who enjoys helping customers get the most from their hearing devices.
- Ideally you will already be experienced in providing support and advice in a patient centred environment (NHS / medical / clinic / optical)
